The Bowtie® Nationals Doug Thorley Burnout Contest is packed full of tire-shredding action! This contest is limited to only show participants. The contest will take place on Saturday at in the designated burnout area. Each participant must sign a liability release and pass a tech inspection within 30 minutes prior to the contest. Cash awards presented to the top 3, including a $250 cash reward to the overall winner, $150 for second and $50 for third. The top 3, including winner, will be decided by crowd applause. EMT and fire safety will be present during the contest. Must be 18, and driver must have a helmet and wear a seat belt. Each contestant only gets 30 seconds of their best burnout! First place also gets a trophy.
