The Bowtie® Nationals Doug Thorley Burnout Contest is packed full of tire-shredding action! This contest is limited to only show participants. The contest will take place on Saturday at in the designated burnout area. Each participant must sign a liability release and pass a tech inspection within 30 minutes prior to the contest. Cash awards presented to the top 3, including a $500 cash reward to the overall winner, $250 for second and $100 for third. The top 3, including winner, will be decided by crowd applause. EMT and fire safety will be present during the contest. Must be 18, and driver must have a helmet and wear a seat belt. Each contestant only gets 30 seconds of their best burnout! First place also gets a trophy.
